The Challenge

Message templates must be submitted to Meta for approval. Categories include marketing (promotions), utility (order updates), and authentication (OTP). Each category has different pricing and rules. Rejection is common due to policy violations, formatting issues, or unclear use cases. Managing templates through WhatsApp Manager is slow, especially when you have dozens of templates.

How Convoup Helps

Convoup provides a visual template editor with a live preview. You can add a header (text, image, document, or video), a body with dynamic variables (`{{1}}`, `{{2}}`), and buttons (quick-reply or call-to-action). Templates are submitted directly to Meta from Convoup, and you can track approval status in real time (pending, approved, rejected). Template approval is controlled by Meta, not Convoup. Typical review time is 24–48 hours, but can vary. Templates that violate Meta's policies are rejected. A low Phone Number Quality Rating (when recipients report a template as spam) affects all future delivery for that template.
